Notice To Residents – Do Not Discard Cigarette Ends From Your Balconies

NOTICE TO RESIDENTS – DO NOT DISCARD CIGARETTE ENDS FROM YOUR BALCONIES, THIS IS A CLEAR BREACH OF HEALTH, SAFETY, FIRE & SMOKE REGULATIONS AND COULD COST A PERSON/PERSONS THEIR LIVES

The Estate Office has been advised by a resident that a cigarette end, which was still alight, was dropped from the balcony above onto her balcony which melted her plant pots. This could so easily have started a fire which could have had profound consequences for other residents. Discarding cigarette ends from your balconies is prohibited and can cause a fire/injury or worse.

Please dispose of your cigarette ends responsibly.
