Dear Resident

Refurbishment of Main Entrance C – Works will commence on Monday 5th August at 9 am

This letter is to advise, the refurbishment works to Main Entrance C will commence on Monday 5th August. The documentation pertaining to these works, Method Statement, Scope of Works, and Risk Assessment (CDM), have been approved by Wandsworth Borough Council, the latter, which is as per process, when works are undertaken to the Communal Areas of the development.

The name of the contractor who will be undertaking the works is OSPM.

The refurbishment of Main Entrance C will be undertaken in two stages:

Stage 1 – Closure of the Main Entrance Door (Access to the lift will be via the Rear Entrance Door).

Stage 2 – Closure to the Fire Door which leads to the Rear Entrance Door to Block C, to allow for the Flooring/ Walls and Fire Door leading to the Rear Entrance Door to be refurbished (Access to the lift will be via the Main Entrance Door).

On Monday 5th August, access to Block C will be via the Rear Entrance Door to the lift as the Main Entrance Door will be blocked off for a period of seven days, the latter to allow for the flooring/walls/ceiling/Main Entrance Door to be refurbished.

Once the Main Entrance Door/Flooring/ceiling/Walls are addressed, the Main Entrance Door will then be reopened and access will be restricted to the Rear Entrance Door and access will be restricted for seven days.

During the refurbishment works to Main Entrance C, the lift will remain fully operational, apart from one evening, this is to allow the flooring in front of the lift to be addressed.

I will provide notification to the residents in Block C on the date in which we will be closing down Lift C (H116).

Should any of the above timings of these works change, I will update you accordingly.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused and we so very much appreciate your assistance with this in advance.
