  NOTICE TO RESIDENTS

CRIME PREVENTION ADVICE FROM THE METROPOLITAN POLICE SAFER NEIGHBOURHOOD TEAM TO COMBAT THEFT OF PARCELS

The Metropolitan Police Safer Neighbourhood Team encourage residents to combat theft of parcels which are placed in the communal areas and asked that Goulden House Estate Office circulate their following advice to residents:

  • Arrange deliveries for days/times when the recipient is home.
  • Alternatively, if resident is not at home have mail delivered to work addresses or trusted family/friends who can receive the goods and keep them safe and secure.
  • Use ‘Signed for’ services to prevent delivery drivers leaving mail/parcels in so-called ‘secure’ areas, such as un-manned mail rooms or communal areas.
  • Consider renting a PO Box/Mailbox
