Watering of Plants on Balconies

This notice is to advise that when you are watering plants on your balcony, please be mindful of any excess water spilling over your balcony and into the balcony below/gardens on Ground Floor.
The Estate Office have been advised of a number of incidents where, furniture on balconies below have been soaked and clothing in Ground Floor Flats needed to be re-washed, because of the excess water falling from the watering of plants, on balconies above.

Annual Clearance of Flat Roof

This notice is to advise the Annual Clearance of the Flat Roof will be undertaken on Monday 28th July.
The Roof Clearance will be undertaken by OSPM, in compliance with CDM Regulations (Working at Height).
The clearance of the Flat Roof will take a considerable number of hours on Monday 28th July, please ensure that if your bedrooms can be seen from the Flat Roof, that you close your curtains please.

Estate Office Closed

The Estate office is currently closed due to staff sickness. Any emergencies should be reported directly to Wandsworth Borough Council by calling 020 8871 7490. Our sincerest of apologies for any inconvenience caused.


Help Keep Goulden House Safe – Report Drug-Related Anti-Social Behaviour

Dear Residents,

Our community is strongest when we look out for one another. The Safer Neighbourhoods team is working hard to tackle drug-related anti-social behaviour in the area, but they need your help.

If you witness any incidents or have information that could assist the police, please report it. Every report matters and helps the authorities take the right steps to make our neighbourhood safer.

How you can help:

  • Report any suspicious activity to the police via 101 or online at Met Police Reporting.
  • In emergencies, always call 999.
  • Share information with the Safer Neighbourhoods team at local meetings or anonymously via Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.

Your vigilance can make a real difference. Let’s work together to protect our community and keep Goulden House a safe, welcoming place for everyone.

Notice to residents – WBC waste services have placed the food bins on site today (17th june 2025)

This notice is to advise that Wandsworth Borough Council Waste Services, placed Food Waste Bins on site today at three locations:

Location 1 Inner Green, next to the Recycling Bins opposite the Bike Shelter.
Location 1 Inner Green, next to the Recycling Bins opposite the Bike Shelter.
Location 2 Bin Store B – along the brick wall – Shuttleworth Road.
Location 2 Bin Store B – along the brick wall – Shuttleworth Road.
Location 3 Bin Store A – along the communal garden fence – Shuttleworth Road.
Location 3 Bin Store A – along the communal garden fence – Shuttleworth Road.

The Food Bins will be emptied every Wednesday to coincide with the removal of General Waste & Recycling from site.

Erecting Of Scaffold Tower On Section Of Block C Adjacent To The Community Ball Court

NOTICE TO RESIDENTS – ERECTING OF SCAFFOLD TOWER ON SECTION OF BLOCK C ADJACENT TO THE COMMUNITY BALL COURT

This is to advise that a scaffold tower will be erected on a section of Block C on 25th October 2023 to address the water ingress in the Fire Stairwell.

The scaffold tower will be erected on Block C adjacent to the Community Ball Court and Fire Stairwell.

Update from Pestgone’s Inspection of GH on 9th October 2023

Goulden House Inner Green

This notice is to advise residents of Pestgone’ s findings from their inspection of the site on 9th October 2023

“A routine inspection was carried out today across all areas of the premises, including all external areas, including both Inner and Outer Greens, all external bin stores, communal gardens, communal sheds, internal communal areas, and 4th floor landing, with light evidence of rat activity found within the bin stores of the inner green only. All other areas of the premises remain in good condition,with no evidence of any recent or ongoing pest activity. All bait stations have been fully serviced with bait replenished and refreshed where needed good levels of housekeeping and hygiene standards were found during todays inspection, I have advised that areas within the sheds and bin stores where gaps have been found be sealed up to prevent further egres. PestGone will continue to monitor on forthcoming service visits. Additional bait stations have been installed along sub entrances to Shuttleworth Street”.

 I can advise, that resulting from Pestgone’s findings yesterday, we have raised the Emergency Works Order to contractor to attend and seal the gaps in the sheds which were identified after residents had cleared their sheds for Pestgone’s inspection of the sheds yesterday (Monday 9th October).

May I also take this opportunity to thank our residents who cleared their Storage Sheds which permitted Pestgone to undertake the inspection.
