Goulden House in Early Spring

St Mary’s Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team have been patrolling Goulden House frequently recently, in light of reports of young people causing drug-related anti-social behaviour.

St Mary’s Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team will be patrolling the area on Halloween, Bonfire Night and other days over the upcoming weeks, when there will be a possible rise in anti-social behaviour.

Please can residents report any anti-social behaviour or crime to Police via www.met.police.uk  and by calling 101. In an emergency, whereby fireworks are being set off and they are endangering other people/property please dial 999 to report these incidents.”

Intercom Digital Pads in Blocks A and C

This notice is to advise residents that Wandsworth Borough Council have authorised the installation of the Intercom Digital Pads in Blocks A and C, this authorisation was received today 26th October.

A letter will be issued to each resident early next week which will request that you provide your preferred numbers to the Estate Office via letter or via email to [email protected], residents are asked that their preferred numbers are provided to the Estate Office within 14 days of receipt of your letter, this will allow the installation of the Intercom Digital Pads to run smoothly.

Lift in Block B and C

Lift in Block B and C are not working currently. Lift Engineers have been instructed to attend and rectify.

Both lifts are now operational again.

Section 20 Major Works (Lifts) Update October 2022

Goulden House residents are advised of an update received today from Wandsworth Council:

The lift contractors who have been invited to tender for the works will be required to return their tenders on Wednesday 19th October 2022. Once we have received the documents then both the council and the consultant will review all the documentation to produce a tender analysis report. (approx. 3 weeks to complete)

 

This report will then be submitted to the leasehold procurement team in which the 2nd stage consultation process will commence.

Throwing Cigarette Ends From 4Th Floor To Flats Below

NOTICE TO RESIDENTS

Smoking and discarding of cigarette ends inside the building is strictly prohibited, as it is a serious Health, Safety and Fire Hazard.  Discarding of cigarette ends in and around the 4th Floor walkway is not permitted and throwing cigarette ends, which are still alight, from the 4th Floor to the flats below is extremely dangerous to both the residents who reside below and to their properties

Please dispose of your cigarette ends responsibly which will ensure your safety and the safety of others and their properties.

Estate Parking Permit Renewal

Many of the car park permits are due for renewal in September so this notice is a reminder that you should now complete the application form and obtain a new permit for your vehicle.

All request for parking permits must be made 5 days in advance.  Parking permit Application Forms can be collected from the office or downloaded as PDF documents from the Wandsworth council website.

The same form is used for renewals as for new applications.

Once you complete the form, bring it to the estate office with the documention required where it will be processed and your car park permit issued.

Note that parking enforcement is carried out by Wandsworth council by the same team that patrols street parking. Residents should not allow their permits to expire if they are using the Goulden House car parks as a penalty charge notice may be issued by Wandsworth.
