WBC confirmed to the Estate Office today via Email, Monday 10th August, that they have issued a briefing to all leaseholders and residents at Goulden House in the form of a Frequently Asked Questions document dated 3 August 2026.
Please note the following from Wandsworth Borough Council:
“The FAQ confirms that, following observations received during the consultation process and concerns raised at the resident consultation meeting held on 2 July 2026, the Council has extended the Section 20 consultation period by a further four weeks from 20th July 2026 until the 21st of August 2026.
The FAQ briefing also advises that the Council has formally instructed its consultant to undertake further feasibility work and provide a revised, costed assessment of the option to retain the existing communal ventilation system.
Considering the current situation, it would be sensible for any resident who has opted out to postpone any works until further notice”.
